Working in the wedding industry for almost ten years you get to know a LOT of vendors around the area. We have been blessed to work with some of the best in Southeast Iowa! Here are our top five vendor friends that we would recommend for your wedding!

1. Bright Designs

Casey and her husband Matt are literally the dream team. I met them both a few years back when I photographed my very first wedding with them. They were both super easy to work with and Casey’s eye for design is just spot on.

Since then we’ve had many weddings together, an editorial shoot, and I’ve had the pleasure of photographing branding photos for them and capturing their sweet little fam. <3 (PS – they have THE cutest son).

Everyone needs paperie for their wedding! Your first thought probably goes to Save the Dates and Invitation Suites amiright? Well Kelly and Hannah from Noted Design have got. you. covered. They create some beautiful stationary pieces that will fit perfectly with your wedding theme. This is something that everyone is going to need for their wedding day. Now you could hop online to one of those shops and plug in your name and your date and it could spit you out a design. Or you could contact Kelly and have her custom create an invitation that fits your style and personality perfectly.

4. Heather Ratliff

Everyone wants to look bomb on their wedding day, yes?? Well you can put your trust in Heather that she can take your natural beauty and enhance that with a look that is still you, but also a little extra glitz and glam for such a special occasion! Heather also offers makeup for your bridal party and/or MOB and MOG!

Heather will travel to wherever you are getting ready at on your wedding day, and do all makeup on site!

One of the things that I love most is when Bride’s have their hair and makeup come to them! This means that I can capture some behind the scenes and getting ready shots while you are getting all done up! It also makes your day go a little smoother because there is less travel involved for you and your bridal party.

Heather also does trial runs so you can make sure that you 1000% LOVE your wedding makeup and that your day goes flawlessly.
