Wow, what a beautiful wedding we had the honor of capturing this past weekend!  Alissa and Adam tied the knot at Rapid Creek Cidery in Iowa City.  Once again we were watching the weather and praying for no rain.  And yet again the heavens smiled upon our wedding and the sun shined all day long.

The day was beautifully put together by White Ivy Events.  Think gorgeous white drapery, flowing greenery, and warm candle light filling the room.   Amanda thought of every little detail and what she put together was awe inspiring.  She and her team worked flawlessly throughout the day to ensure every aspect of Alissa and Adam’s wedding was perfect.

Also, can we talk about those florals from Studio Bloom??  Heart eyes for days!!!  <3  I love it when a Bride chooses basic and simple greenery.  It is understated but is the perfect touch to add the right amount of floral beauty to your wedding.

My favorite part of the day was the ceremony.  Brad & Kate provided simply stunning live background music to set the stage.  Alissa walked down the aisle with her mother and stopped to place a flower on her Father’s chair to honor his memory.  Both Alissa and Adam cried through their personally written vows to one another.  You could just feel the love and emotion emanating from them and you could tell how much love they hold in their hearts for one another.   Those are the best kinds of ceremony’s to witness and to capture.

The day finished off with some beautiful speeches, a touching first dance, and some yard games and dancing to party the night away.
