There are so many things I would like to say about Erin & Adam’s wedding this past Saturday, but it’s hard to articulate them into words.  Most wedding days are rushed, a little stressful, and full of commotion.  There was such a peace about Erin and Adam’s wedding day.

I arrived to the hustle and bustle of Bridesmaids getting ready at Hotel Blackhawk.  Erin was casually chatting with her ladies and relaxing before getting her dress on.  Afterwords we hung out in the lobby and took some photos while waiting on the limo to arrive.

Once we got to the church Erin and Adam shared a touching first look out in the breezeway.  The sun had decided to peak out and it made the day even more grand.

Their ceremony had some tears, and also some chuckles.  My favorite part was how throughout the ceremony you could see Adam frequently reach over and put his arm around Erin’s waist, or grab her hand.  It was the smallest little thing, but in that you could see how much Adam absolutely adored his bride.

We had a Grand Reveal of their reception hall at the Outing Club which was beautifully decorated by Bright Designs.  I’m talking greenery, candles galore, and refined wooden touches throughout the room.  It really was breathtaking.

We did all of their portraits right outside the Outing Club (and you can’t even tell that Brady Street is RIGHT THERE).  And onto the party bus (driven by Three Guys and a Bus) they went for some drinks at the Up Bar.  I did not personally ride on the party bus but I heard from our second shooter Gracie that it was quite the riot!

Once they got back for their reception they did not disappoint!  I kid you not – every single person in either family is a comedian.  Erin’s dad; Pat, starting things out with THE best Father of the Bride toast that I have ever witnessed.  Followed by Erin’s sister then Adam’s brother.  All of whom killed it with the love and the laughter.

Then they ended the night with a rockin dance party led by Unique Events (who also provided the GORGEOUS chairs and barn wood table).  I almost wanted to stay and party the night away with them.

Thank you so much for choosing us to capture your big day.  It was so much fun and we enjoyed being able to tell your wonderful story.  <3
