About a year and half ago it was a stormy, gloomy, grey day. I ventured over to the Schmidt’s house to photograph their brand new baby; Olivia. Over the next year I photographed her for Valentine’s Day, her 6 month milestone, and her one year cake smash- where her parents announced the arrival of her new sibling!

Last week held almost the same exact day for Ellie’s newborn photos. It was dark and gloomy with some drizzle coming down. But luckily we were dry and toasty inside capturing all this squishy newborn goodness.

 

I love families that I have the pleasure of watching them grow. I got to witness Nichole as a beautifully glowing pregnant mama-to-be, I was able to watch Olivia grow during her first year of life, and now I get to do the same with sweet Ellie.

 

Nichole and Jared are such sweet parents with a deep love for their children, and it’s undeniable the love they still have for each other as well.

 

Every time I get to photograph this family I have the best time and love the results. You just can’t manufacture that kind of love and relationship. They are what makes these photos great.

 

Olivia wasn’t to sure about baby sister, but she did enjoy pointing at her. I’m sure that they are going to be the best of friends though!!

I’m wishing this family all the best with their beautiful new baby girl, and I am so excited for another year of capturing that baby Schmidt magic. <3
