We’ve got some fun January Blog posts headed for you recapping what an amazing year we had in 2019!  Our first post is our behind the scenes from 2019!

I love behind the scenes because I feel like it gives you a real life look into what a wedding day with Fieldstone looks like!  We work hard but we also play hard and we love to have fun with our couples. 

You’ll see a little bit of that, some BTS of us shooting, and you’ll see a lot of Ashley’s face!  Hahaha!  Ashley is my favorite lighting tester; meaning that I make her go stand in front of my camera while I take some test shots to make sure that:

a. the background will work well for the photo

b. the lighting is good/ the lighting is set correctly (for flash photography)

c. the get our settings prepped

We do this so that way when we bring our couple or the bridal party out we are ready to go and you don’t have to wait around in the hot/cold/rain (or whatever crazy weather Iowa had in store for us).

I love going through all these old photos because I get to relive every single wedding that we photographed this year and it brings back so many great memories.  I hope that you all enjoy seeing a small peak at what we do!
