August has been such a hot month for weddings this year! But that did not stop Aubrey and Cody from celebrating their love with a lovely wedding in Clinton at the Vista Grande. They had a huge wedding party clocking in at over 20 people!! These two are obviously the life of the party and so easy to get along with. We had an absolute blast hanging out with these guys all day.
The ladies started at Aubrey’s mom’s hair salon in DeWitt and the guys were hanging at Cody & Aubrey’s bar at their house in Grand Mound. The spirits were high and everyone seemed ready for a fun day with the couple.
Aubrey and Cody packed the church out for their ceremony – it was easily the most guests I’ve ever seen at a wedding ceremony before! I’d say just about the whole town came out to celebrate.
Their ceremony at Vista Grande did not disappoint – especially since it was beautifully designed and decorated by Creating Your Dreams. All around the room you could see gold glitz and glam with touches of maroon and greenery and a beautiful glowing head table. And can we talk about their food for a minute? I don’t usually mention food in the blog, but ohhhhhhh man. There food was to DIE for. I’m drooling just thinking about it. And oh hey, guess what? It was Cody’s family that provided the food! If you’re looking for a delicious meal to serve at your wedding look no further then Matthiesen’s Catering. It was heaven, pure heaven. 😀
The rest of the reception was a rocking party, and I would expect no less from Aubrey and Cody. What a gorgeous day for a gorgeous couple. Thank you for letting us share it with you! <3
