I first met Kelsey and Nate at a Bridal Expo a year and a half ago.  They approached me to chat about their wedding and told me that I was photographing a wedding for friends of theirs; Jen & Adam.   We chatted at the Expo, then spent some more time talking details about their Wisconsin wedding over the phone.  I was thrilled when I found out that I would have the honor of photographing their wedding in June!

Right away you can tell that both Kelsey and Nate are two extraordinary people.  Nate is more reserved but so loving and kind.  Kelsey is one of those girls who instantly feels like your best friend.  It made me feel like I was photographing the wedding of two close friends.  And boy was the entire day a blast.

We photographed their engagement session in the Quad Cities.  Nate & Kelsey both attended school in the area, so they felt it would be fitting.  Right then and there I knew these two were complete models.  I don’t think they took one bad photo!

Finally after lots of planning and preparations the big day arrived!  As soon as you arrive at Sentry World everything just looks beautiful and grand.  Add to that the gorgeous greenery, rustic wood, and candle light.  Woo, what a gorgeous wedding.  (And can we just talk about the hand lettering done by Kelseys sister; Allie?   Girl has some talent right there!)

The day flew by.  From hanging out in the bridal salon, to the first look, ceremony.   Then our escapades out on the golf course (some things are better left a secret 😉 ), followed by a wonderful reception filled with loved ones.  You could not orchestrate a better day or better people to spend it with.

Kelsey and Nate, thank you so much for allowing me into your group of family and friends, and for giving me the opportunity to capture your love story.  You are truly two of the most wonderful people I have had the pleasure of working for.  <3
