Brittany and Austin are an adorable couple and quite the perfect match. We had so much fun venturing around Brittany’s parents property, and the neighbors property to take their engagement portraits. I was a little reserved going into the session because we were supposed to get some raging thunderstorms during the exact time of the session. Brittany really was hoping to get them done soon so we powered through and figured we would get what we could before the storms rolled in.
Wouldn’t you know it – we had a typical Midwestern spring evening. At the beginning of our session it was dark and cloudy, and we could here thunder rolling in the near distance. We even got sprinkled on just a little bit. But in the end the thunderstorms ended up passing by us and the sun came out at the end of the session making for the perfect lighting! Boy I’m glad we didn’t cancel because their engagement portraits turned out absolutely beautiful. I wouldn’t have had it any other way.
I am so excited to photograph Brittany and Austin’s wedding this upcoming October at the Blue Grass Community Hall. It is going to be a perfect day. 🙂
