A few months back we stood on Dana’s Sister’s deck and watched as Dana and Mitch vowed to love each other forever. The deck was filled with their families and closest friends there to witness their vows. It was such a sweet and intimate afternoon; and the perfect way for Dana and Mitch to begin their lives together.
But we are SO happy that Dana and Mitch were finally able to have their larger ceremony & reception; including all those they love and that have played a part in Dana & Mitch’s love story.
Dana and Mitch chose to have their vow renewal and reception at the Iowa State Fairgrounds since that is where they had their first date and is also where they got engaged! This place held so many special memories for the two of them it seemed on fitting that this be the place that they were to be married.
It was overcast all day long, but that didn’t make their day any less beautiful! We ventured around the fairgrounds finding special and unique spots to take some portraits. I had sooooo much fun exploring with Dana, Mitch, and their wedding party!
Even though Dana and Mitch had already been married for two months (thanks COVID), that didn’t make their day any less special! They both still cried when they saw each other at the altar and when they said their vows! And their vows were made even more special since they have been living them out every single day for the past couple of months.
Following their vow renewal Dana & Mitch hosted their very own mini fair outside! They had ring toss, bags, corn dogs, lemonade, popcorn, funnel cake, and a corn toss. It was so much fun and very unique!!
It was the perfect day with the best people. Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of it! <3
