A Hotel Blackhawk Wedding | Davenport, Iowa

What a joy it has been to get to know Ellen and Kevin over this last year!!  They both have extremely sweet and kind personalities that just draw everyone around them in, and they are seemingly made for one another.

We started the day at PURE where the girls were getting their hair and makeup done.  Not a detail was forgotten as each bridesmaid had on matching pajamas and a mug with their initial on it.  The table was filled with sweets and treats and some yummy looking mimosas!  Each and every lady looked absolutely stunning!  <3

Ellen shared a first look with her dad where he ooo’ed and awww’ed over his very first daughter to be married!!  It was just the sweetest.

Then Ellen went to see Kevin!  They were both a little nervous, but also so excited to finally be able to see one another.  Kevin turned around and Ellen threw her arms up in excitement; which made Kevin chuckle at his soon-to-be bride.  Once they finally were able to see each other there was so much pressure taken off and they were ready to spend the rest of their day celebrating their love.

Ellen & Kevin were married at Christ the King Chapel at St. Ambrose where they both attended school (Go Bees!).  They were surrounded by all their closest friends and families which made the ceremony all the better.  I even saw quite a few guests wiping tears away.  Ellen and Kevin are a special pair and they are so dearly loved which was evident throughout their entire day.

To end the evening and celebrate their marriage; everyone headed to Hotel Blackhawk to party the night away!  We heard beautiful speeches from Ellen’s dad, Kevin’s brother, and we even witnessed one heck of a rap song from Ellen’s younger sisters!  It was quite epic.

We loved every second of Ellen and Kevin’s wedding day and felt so lucky to be able to help tell their story.  <3
