Becca & Jared have been so gracious and patient as I have been out of town this last week and haven’t been able to blog a preview for their wedding! I think it helps that they are having the time of their lives in Hawaii right now!! I have been watching alllll the Instagram posts and stories and I’ve got to say that I’m slightly jealous. But I love watching the fun time this dynamic duo is having.
If you try and think of the most bubbly, kindest, loving, caring, drop-dead gorgeous person that you know, – times that by 100 and you’ve got Becca. This girl is a straight up ten and spending the day with her felt like hanging out with you best friend.
Jared is pretty great too, he’s the perfect yin to Becca’s yang. He’s quiet and reserved but has a huge heart. And you can tell that he is 100% head over heels in love with Becca. He’ll do whatever is takes to make sure that she’s happy. Jared is also a budding entrepreneur with BIG dreams and I love hearing all about it as Becca excitedly told me all of Jared’s plans.
It was definitely a hot one – but we were all just extremely happy that the rain was staying away. Ya’ll know that I am a sucker for an outdoor ceremony, and Becca and Jared had an outdoor ceremony and a tent reception planned! I had all the heart eyes.
The ceremony went off without a hitch. They cried, we cried, everybody cried. It was so beautiful to see a couple that has stuck through so much together. Becca and Jared have been together since they were 14!!! They’ve made it through the awkward high school years, the growth of college, they’ve been through a couple moves, and finally now they are building a life together and committing to forever. There’s nothing more beautiful than that.
The reception was a straight up party and I would expect nothing less from these two. Their tent was beautifully decorated by I Do Events with all the gorgeous candle light, Bistro lighting, and simple touches of greenery. Everyone came ready to party the night away.
I would be remiss if I didn’t also mention the first dance. Because let me tell you… this was the most excited I have ever been for a first dance. Becca told me that they were thinking of doing the dance from Dirty Dancing and I told her that she HAD to do it. Becca is a dancer and I knew that they could totally pull it off, and it would be EPIC.
They totally did pull it off (lift and everything!) and it was by far one of my favorite reception moments to date.
What a wedding it was. There are days where you can literally feel the love and happiness radiating off of every person in attendance. This was exactly that kind of day. There was nothing but smiles and laughter and more then enough love to go around.
Thank you both for allowing us to be a part of your love story. It was an incredible day and we feel so lucky to have documented it for you. <3
