It was an absolute blast getting to hang out with Becca and Jared to photograph their engagement session! These two will be tying the knot next June at TPC Deere Run and we are so excited to be capturing the festivities.
It was quite the task trying to meet with them for a pre-booking consultation. They were going on vacation, then closing on their new house, on top of the fact that they work a lot of different hours! Talk about crazy busy! 🙂
I’m lucky we were able to get a time set up within the week to capture their engagement photos. The weather held out for us as well! I mean, it may have been near 100 degrees and I’m pretty sure we were all drenched in sweat by the end of the evening.
But I’m a firm believer that you do what you have to do to get the shot. And boy are their engagement photos straight up gorgeous! I would say it was most definitely worth the heat and sweat (that burns calories too, right? 😉 )
These two were complete naturals when it came to posing and interacting. I barely had to give them a direction and they would fall into things naturally.
I told them at the beginning of their session that most of the time we don’t keep many photos from that portion of the session. Usually it’s just a time to get used to the camera.
I kid you not, we kept SO many photos, because they were all fantastic! Their wedding is going to be simply amazing! 🙂
