Aubrey and Cody will be getting married this August in the Quad Cities! They wanted to get their engagement photos done soon since the big day is coming up, but we weren’t quite sure what the weather was going to do. We completely lucked out and had an almost sixty degree day at the end of January. That is quite amazing considering it is the middle of the winter here in the good old Midwest. We took full advantage of the wonderful weather and did a few indoor photos then headed outside to capture that golden sunset and ‘warm’ winds.
Aubrey and Cody describe themselves as ‘awkward’ but I’d say they are anything but! These two are adorable and fit perfectly together. By the end of the session Cody was even laughing and smiling all on his own! 😉 Anyone who has ever had portraits done with their man knows that that in itself is almost a miraculous thing. They were game for all the poses I threw at them and I think their portraits turned out beautifully.
I am so looking forward to photographing their wedding at Grande Vista in Clinton. August can’t come soon enough. Until then take a look at a sneak peak of their engagement photos!
