Christina held on to her father’s arm, smiling from ear to ear as he walked her down the aisle. After they got to the end of the aisle where Benjamin was waiting for them, her dad handed her off to Ben and then went and sat at the piano to sing his daughter away. Many years ago, when Christina was just a little girl, her father had written a song for her on her wedding day. As the notes began to ring out on the piano and he sang his melodic tune; Christina’s eyes welled with tears. He sang about loving her as a baby, how she was his little girl. How they used to play and laugh. But now the time had come for him to give her away and let someone else take his place. When he was done singing I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room. It was just the perfect way to give your daughter away.
Christina & Ben’s day was cool, breezy, and slightly rainy fall day. Christina was the perfect Bride for this type of wedding day as she loves rain! Who could ask for more?! The rain held off for some windy monsoon like portraits, but everyone made it through dry, albeit very cold. All of their family and friends had gathered to witness their God-orchestrated love story. There were many hugs, lots of laughs, and quite a few tears. It was such a wonderful day. Check out a preview of their big day below!
