Saturday’s wedding was full of rose gold sparkle, lush minty greens, yards of lace, dapper men dressed in grey, a touch of rustic elegance, and copious amounts of laughter and love.  Oh, and tractors.  We had some tractors too.  And cross bows.  Well, I guess you had to be there.  🙂

Nate & Maddy are the epitome of young true love.  With each loving glance they stole at each other, every belly laugh they shared, and even the awkward moments of the day where someone who shall remain unnamed could not fake laugh – you could tell they are a perfect match.

I arrived at the church in the afternoon to the buzz of many bridesmaids and friends putting their finishing touches on for the day.  You could tell that there was such an air of excitement for the upcoming events.  The men were upstairs ‘getting ready’ (or watching the game – same thing 😉 ) and the time was quickly approaching to begin the ceremony.  Nate stood nervously at the front of the church waiting to see his Bride for the very first time on their wedding day.  Suddenly the double doors opened and Maddy entered the church with her father at her side; and Nate seemed with pride at his gorgeous lady.  Who would be his wife in just minutes.

Their Priest had many sweet memories to share as Maddy & Nate had both attended Grace Lutheran Church and both been confirmed there many years before; not even knowing that somewhere down the line they would commit themselves to each other forever in that very same place.

The day that followed was fast paced but so much fun – and ended with one of the biggest dance parties I’ve witnessed at a wedding.  I hope you all enjoy a little preview from their very special day.  Nate and Maddy, thank you for allowing me to take part in your wedding and to be able to capture these memories for you.  <3
